Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Luling is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our team. The role focuses on inpatient care for chronically and critically ill patients, performing cardiopulmonary therapies and related procedures.

The RCP will maintain equipment, perform phlebotomy and basic labs, and support emergency responses. Must be licensed in the state, with current BLS and ACLS certifications; Nevada blood gas licensure may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed to practice respiratory care in the state of the hospital.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum one year of clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintains equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
• Fulfills additional duties as assigned.
