Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in at least one jurisdiction.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) per NBRC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 1 year.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory therapy care for patients across ages and acuities.
• Interprets physician orders and individualizes therapy.
• Ventilator management and maintenance; adjust settings and alarms.
• Performs bedside ABGs and related quality control.
• Documents all therapy, ventilator data, and patient information.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure patient safety and care quality.
