Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with CRT credentials to join our patient-centered clinical team. You will provide high-quality respiratory therapy across age groups, collaborating with physicians, nurses and other professionals to support outcomes.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Certificate of Completion in Respiratory Therapy.
CoARC or CoARTE approved Respiratory Care Program.
Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) - IL IDFPR and Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days, ACLS within 1 year, NRP within 1 year, PALS within 1 year.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.

Responsibilities

Performs respiratory therapy and related duties following policies and procedures.
Interprets physician orders and individualizes therapy.
Maintains patient safety and quality control during procedures.
Assists in ventilator management and patient rounds with physicians.
Documents care and maintains accurate records and charge entries.
Stays compliant with credentialing, education, and infection control policies.
