Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate in Respiratory Therapy from an approved program (CoARC/CoARTE).
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in Illinois and Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days; ACLS, NRP, PALS within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• PERFORMS PATIENT CARE ACTIVITIES TO INCLUDE ALL FORMS OF RESPIRATORY THERAPY.
• Interprets and executes physician orders.
• Maintains accurate documentation and computer entry.
• Assists with ventilator management and patient rounds.
