Job summary

Carle Health seeks a compassionate Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with CRT to deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages. You will work with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to support optimal outcomes and engage in professional development.

This role supports caregivers to pass the registered therapist test within one year and offers a collaborative team culture with opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Qualifications

Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) – IDFPR.
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – NBRC.
BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 1 year, NRP/PALS within 1 year.
RRT credential preferred; CLIA responsibilities as directed.

Responsibilities

Perform respiratory therapies and related duties per policy.
Ventilator management and maintenance with appropriate alarms.
Document medications, care and ventilator settings accurately.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff to optimize patient care.
Educate patients and family members as required.
Respond to pages and emergencies promptly.
Maintain infection control and safety standards.
