Qualifications

• Requires Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in good standing (IDFPR).
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required by NBRC.
• BLS within 30 days; ACLS within 1 year; NRP within 1 year; PALS within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care across patient populations following physician orders.
• Interpret and execute orders; tailor therapy to patient needs.
• Ventilator management, checks every 4 hours, alarm settings, and weaning support.
• Document all therapy, medication administration, and patient care accurately.
