Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or a Certificate of Completion in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC/CoARTE approved program.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in IDFPR and Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• BLS within 30 days; ACLS, NRP, and PALS within 1 year; RRT credential preferred.
• 1+ years of respiratory therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care and related duties as directed by policies.
• Interpret physician orders and individualize therapy.
• Ventilator management and maintenance; adjust settings per protocol.
• Educate patients and document care accurately.
• Respond to alarms, codes, and urgent needs promptly.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and infection control practices.
