Respiratory Care Practitioner (Mulitple Shifts available)

Baltimore, MD area

Our client is part of one of the largest and most prestigious health systems in the United States.

They have engaged our firm to help them identify several RCP's for their rapidly expanding department.

Performs therapeutic and technical procedures that require independent judgment and knowledge of the theory and practice of Respiratory Care.

Education & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of respiratory therapy required.
• Successfully passed the Registry board examination of the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• Pulmonary Function experience preferred.

Licensure & Certification:

Respiratory Care Practitioner I:

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Maryland.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• ACLS Certification (must be completed within first year of employment).
• PALS Certification (must be completed within first year of employment).

Respiratory Care Practitioner II:

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Maryland.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• ACLS Certification (must be completed within first year of employment).
• PALS Certification (must be completed within first year of employment).
