As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will:

  • Perform therapeutic and technical procedures that require independent judgment and knowledge of the theory and practice of Respiratory Care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of respiratory therapy
  • Successfully passed the Registry Board examination of the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Maryland
  • Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientation programs
  • Current BCLS certification, maintained regularly
  • ACLS and PALS certification required within the first year of employment and maintained thereafter
