Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Respiratory Care Manager to lead the Respiratory Care Department. You will oversee day-to-day operations, staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations to ensure top-quality patient care.

The role requires licensure and NBRC credentials, BLS and advanced certifications within six months. Supervisory experience preferred, with opportunities for growth and impact on departmental quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited respiratory program with at least an associate degree.
• Current Oklahoma RCP license.
• NBRC Registered (RRT) credentials required and maintained per NBRC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP required within 6 months of hire and renewed as necessary to remain certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the respiratory care department.
• Hires, trains, and evaluates respiratory care staff.
• Maintain staffing levels and respond to shortages with minimal impact on services.
• Ensure a positive work environment and patient care aligned with quality initiatives.
• Monitor and maintain respiratory care equipment; order supplies as needed.
• Analyze department performance data and implement improvements.
