Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK, is seeking a Respiratory Care Manager to lead the respiratory therapy team. The role oversees daily operations, ensures high-quality patient care, and maintains regulatory compliance within the department.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited respiratory program with an associate degree or higher, Oklahoma RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP within 6 months of hire. Supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited respiratory program with at least an associate degree.
• Current Oklahoma RCP license.
• NBRC Registered (RRT) credentials required and maintained per NBRC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS, PALS, NRP required within 6 months of hire and renewed as necessary to remain certified
• Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Display positive traits and collaborate with the team in a changing environment.
• Maintain staffing levels and manage hiring, training, and performance evaluations of respiratory care staff.
• Hold team members accountable for a positive work environment and patient care that meets quality improvement initiatives.
• Improve department services and organizational performance; implement department goals and objectives.
• Monitor the use and maintenance of respiratory care equipment and order new equipment and supplies as needed.
• Review department performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
