Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Respiratory Care Manager to provide operational and clinical leadership for home-based respiratory services. You will oversee staffing, productivity, workflow, and quality while ensuring safe, patient-centered care across Maryland, D.C., and Virginia.

You will lead respiratory care staff, manage equipment and supplies, support staff education, monitor performance, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, Respiratory Care, or related field.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in respiratory care services.
• Current state-specific Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential NBRC.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or STABLE certifications, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and clinical leadership for respiratory care services.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, productivity, and workflow.
• Ensure delivery of safe, patient-centered respiratory care.
• Collaborate across teams to support regulatory compliance, service excellence, and continuity of care.
