Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor in Baltimore, MD to provide operational and clinical leadership for respiratory care services. You will oversee daily staffing, scheduling, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance while coaching and developing respiratory therapy staff.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Current state Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license is required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC) required or in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Supervise daily respiratory care operations to ensure timely, efficient delivery of respiratory therapy services.
• Coordinate staffing assignments, schedule adjustments, and coverage needs.
• Lead and support respiratory therapists through coaching, counseling, mentoring, and clinical guidance.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, shift directors, and admission resource managers to coordinate patient care activities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized respiratory care plans utilizing evidence-based clinical practices.
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans to optimize results.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, inventory management, and safety compliance.
• Conduct departmental audits and quality assurance reviews; drive performance improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and submit operational reports and departmental performance data.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, training, evaluations, corrective action, and staff development.
