Job summary

Mercy is seeking a senior Respiratory Care leader to oversee the department's operations and patient care. The role includes managing staff evaluations and development, budgeting, and coordinating scheduling and payroll to support high-quality care.

You will shape the department’s operations, with indirect oversight of Cardiac Rehab, Respiratory School, and Sleep Lab, aligning with Mercy standards and mission.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program.
• Licensure: Must have current license within the state of practice.
• Five years of healthcare and/or leadership experience.
• Registered therapist (NBRC)

Responsibilities

• Manages the Respiratory Care department, overseeing staff evaluations and development.
• Manages department budget including charges, supplies, scheduling of personnel, and payroll.
• Plans, coordinates, implements and evaluates operations and patient care of designated areas.
• Indirect oversight of Cardiac Rehab, Respiratory School, and Sleep Lab.
