Job summary

Mercy is seeking a respiratory care leader in Missouri to oversee the Respiratory Care department, guide staff evaluations and development, and manage the department budget, charges, supplies, and payroll.

The role plans, coordinates, implements and evaluates operations and patient care for designated areas, with indirect oversight of Cardiac Rehab, Respiratory School, and Sleep Lab, aligning with Mercy's mission and standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program.
• Licensure: Must have current license within the state of practice.
• Experience: Five years of healthcare and/or leadership experience.
• Certifications: Registered therapist (National Board of Respiratory Care).

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff evaluations and development.
• Manage department budget, charges, supplies, scheduling of personnel, and payroll.
• Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate the operations and patient care of designated areas.
• Indirect oversite of Cardiac Rehab, Respiratory School, and Sleep Lab.
