Job summary

MedCare Equipment Company seeks a Manager of Respiratory Care to oversee clinical activities across the Respiratory Care Department. You will implement policies, monitor patient conditions, and promote life-sustaining services in a Lean-focused environment.

You will drive staff development, ensure compliance with safety standards, and lead department improvements to meet quality and productivity targets while aligning with MedCare’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years progressively more responsible experience in respiratory care.
• Knowledge of department operations and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Experience with LEAN or process improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Establishes a safe working environment and ensures staff compliance with safety and infection control guidelines.
• Aligns department goals with the organization's mission and communicates SMART goals.
• Develops and maintains staff competencies including mandatory education.
• Leads process improvement initiatives and Lean projects annually.
• Represents the department in cross-functional collaboration and budgeting discussions.
