Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an experienced Lead Respiratory Therapist to oversee daily respiratory therapy operations, coordinate patient care, and ensure staffing, equipment, and supplies meet safety and quality standards.

You will lead, coach, and develop staff, participate in hiring, budgeting, and policy updates, and collaborate with leadership to optimize service delivery while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience required.
• Intermediate human resources management skills demonstrated through supervisory training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise respiratory therapy staff with coaching, performance appraisals, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate patient care operations and maintain optimal staffing levels.
• Assist in budget planning, hiring, and policy implementation; ensure compliance with regulatory codes.
