Legacy Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide on-site respiratory care consulting for healthcare facilities. The role focuses on education, quality improvement, and helping teams strengthen respiratory care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Active state respiratory therapy license.
• Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Experience in acute care, long-term care, LTACH, SNF, or home respiratory care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide onsite respiratory care consulting support to healthcare facilities.
• Review respiratory care practices, policies, and procedures.
• Assess respiratory therapy needs and recommend improvements.
• Provide education and training to nursing and clinical staff.
• Support proper use of respiratory equipment, including oxygen therapy, nebulizers, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilator-related care.
• Review documentation and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to improve respiratory care outcomes.
• Provide guidance on respiratory protocols, safety practices, and regulatory expectations.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient care, efficiency, and staff competency.
