Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) to assess, plan, perform, and evaluate patient respiratory care within a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, managing ventilation and therapies, and educating patients and families. The role may involve shift coordination and mentorship, with collaboration across healthcare teams to ensure safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program; strong communication, clinical assessment and technical skills.
• Ability to work in a clinical environment and collaborate with healthcare teams; respond effectively in emergent situations.
• Comfortable with documentation, monitoring equipment, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop care plans; perform respiratory therapies.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and aerosolized medications.
• Assist with intra-hospital transport and airway management.
• Provide patient and family education; ensure safety and confidentiality.
• Serve as shift coordinator and preceptor; support bronchoscopy procedures.
