Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care from a CoARC accredited program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in MD or affiliated state's license.
• Minimum 3 years of full-time Respiratory Care Practitioner experience.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care (ICU) experience.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Pass background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting.
• Clinical preceptor experience preferred.
• 3 years teaching experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.
• Familiar with AARC Clinical Practice Guidelines and continued education.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with clinical coordinator and facility staff.

• Stay current with policies and procedures at the clinical site.
