Job summary

Reading Area Community College seeks an Adjunct in Respiratory Care Laboratory to support hands-on learning and skill development in the Respiratory Care Program. The role requires collaboration with faculty, adherence to CoARC standards, and effective student remediation. A valid RRT, state license, and teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid RRT credential and current state license in Respiratory Care.
• Minimum three years of experience as an RT and two years of clinical care.
• Two years of teaching experience in CoARC-accredited programs or as a clinical instructor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care or related health field; strong teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, coaching, skill competency evaluation, and student remediation in the on-campus respiratory care lab.
• Collaborate with program faculty to reinforce psychomotor competencies per CoARC standards and prepare students for placement.
