The candidate must hold an RRT credential and MA license, have a COARC-accredited degree, and possess 3+ years clinical RRT experience plus 1+ year teaching in COARC

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RRT credential and MA license.
• Graduate of a CoARC accredited respiratory care program (associates or baccalaureate).
• Must have at least a baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a USDE-recognized agency. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience as an RRT.
• Minimum 1 year teaching in a COARC accredited respiratory care program.
• Must pass CORI/SORI, drug test, vaccinations; castlebranch onboarding within two weeks of hire.
• Must complete COARC Key personnel training within one month of date of hire.
• BLS CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, deliver, oversight, and general effectiveness of clinical and lab experiences for Respiratory Care students.
• Collaborate with program faculty to integrate patient simulation into the curriculum.
• Coordinate student clinical experiences with didactic and laboratory education.
• Provide academic advisement for potential and current students.
• Participate in recruitment activities.
• Maintain program records and supervise students during patient care.
• Liaise between college, instructors, and clinical sites; evaluate weekly progress.
• Maintain confidentiality per program policies.
