Job summary

HDR is seeking a Resources Business Group Data Steward to define and unify how data is defined, shared, and used across HDR’s BGroup and practices. This leadership role focuses on making data simpler, more useful, and closely connected to HDR’s business needs.

The position partners with HDR Data Operations and Technology leadership to enable better decisions, reuse, and delivery excellence while supporting analytics, automation, and AI initiatives across multiple business classes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in growing and guiding teams.
• 15+ years delivering data-focused solutions and services.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, and construction.
• Power/industrial/waste sector experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the RBG data point of contact and leverage SME expertise.
• Develop and maintain data glossaries for key terms with context.
• Build alignment on data processes, priority, and usage.
• Promote responsible use and governance of technical data.
• Support governance of externally sourced datasets.
• Lead a RBG SME network and share lessons across groups.
• Foster data fluency and collaboration with data teams.
