Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Resource Registered Nurse to float across facilities (Baptist, Wilkes, Hugh Chatham & Alleghany) within Zone 10 of Wake's Resource Team. This full-time position is 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, ensuring patient safety, documenting in the EHR, collaborating with the care team, and advancing professional development. BSN preferred; RN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where nursing services are provided.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience; 2 years in service line preferred.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice to improve care.
• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Ensure safety and maintain timely EHR documentation.
• Demonstrate effective communication and respectful delegation.
• Pursue professional development and maintain required certifications.
