Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse to join the Wake's Resource Team. The position is 36 hours per week, full time, with benefits eligibility, and requires floating to Baptist, Wilkes, Hugh Chatham and Alleghany facilities to support patient care.

The RN will apply the nursing process, monitor patient conditions, document in EHR, uphold safety, pursue professional development, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• BN RN license in applicable state with BLS certification.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience; telehealth telepractice experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans with the care team.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and adheres to safety standards.
• May float to other units or facilities as needed.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
