Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to provide patient- and family-centered care across the care team in Ohio. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using the nursing process, with emphasis on safety, evidence-based practice and collaborative decision-making.

Candidates must hold Ohio RN licensure, maintain BLS certification, and obtain ACLS within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas; a BSN must be completed within five years of hire, and

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Ohio is required.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas; certification in area of clinical specialty encouraged within five years.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient, family, and environment for safety risks and initiate safety initiatives.
• Utilize SBAR and handoff processes for communication with the health care team.
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans as part of the Nursing Process.
• Participate in discharge planning and referrals as appropriate.
