Job summary

United Airlines is seeking an Analyst - Resource Planning to support long-term labor planning for Airport Operations and Technical Operations. You will develop staffing recommendations, forecasts, and operational analyses to ensure staffing aligns with flight schedules and service goals.

You will collaborate with station leadership and cross-functional partners to provide insights that improve productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
• Strong analytical, measurement, and evaluation skills.
• Background in quantitatively oriented field such as Ops Management, Engineering, Stats, Math, Business or Economics.

Responsibilities

• Develop staffing recommendations for future flight schedules using forecasting and labor data.
• Collaborate with station leadership to finalize monthly manpower authorization levels.
• Create budgets, forecasts, annual operating plans, and 18‑month rolling forecasts.
• Perform variance analyses and present findings to leadership and Finance partners.
• Support strategic analyses related to flight schedules, staffing changes, and labor initiatives.
• Lead or support projects across operational and corporate teams.
