American Airlines in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Analyst/Sr Analyst for Airport Workforce Planning to develop bids, forecast operating budgets, and analyze staffing needs across the domestic and international network.

You will collaborate with airport operations, finance, and leadership to translate data into actionable plans, travel frequently, and support continuous improvement while advancing your career within a global airline.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred: SQL, Python, and simulation software; Lean Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement frontline team member bids.
Develop the annual operating budget and staffing models used to forecast operating expenditures.
Communicate with airport leadership to ensure full comprehension of planned spending.
Monitor and analyze spending trends to adjust budgets and models to meet airport needs.
Provide financial analysis and justification for capital proposals to secure funding.
Collaborate with airports to identify, analyze, and solve operational issues or improve processes.
Develop solutions to maximize passenger and baggage throughput across the customer journey.
Perform time and motion studies and analyze results to inform airport processes and standards.
Use data-driven insights to address root causes and develop models.
Collaborate across work groups and levels to ensure sustainable changes.
