Job summary

Northeast Treatment Centers is seeking a Resource Parent Support Worker to provide coaching and support to resource parents caring for children in general placements. The role focuses on behavior modification, service coordination, and strengthening partnerships with families and agencies.

The position requires a social work degree and relevant experience, with Spanish language skills considered a plus, and several clearances and health screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Minimum of one year of direct social work experience providing services to children and families in a behavioral health setting.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Adult and Pediatric CPR Certification Required
• PA Child Abuse Clearance required
• PA Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training Required
• FBI Clearance required
• PA Criminal Clearance required
• Health Assessment required
• TB Test required

Responsibilities

• Provide primary support to resource parents working with children placed at the General level of care.
• Engage in face-to-face coaching, behavior modification and service coordination to promote placement stability.
• Communicate with external partners and audit and report on assigned cases.
• Coordinate with families, welfare agencies and community groups to support child welfare.
