Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, TX seeks a Clinical Support Coordinator RN to join our team. The Resource Nurse supports high-quality, patient-centered care by guiding new graduates and staff transitioning to specialty areas, across multiple units.

You will mentor, provide feedback on nursing practice, and participate in rapid responses and codes while promoting evidence-based care and patient experience through safety rounding and Teach-Back.

Competenze

• RN leadership experience and precepting in a hospital setting.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills for new graduates and staff.

Mansioni

• Perform rounds on each unit to assess care quality and identify educational needs.
• Escalate nursing skills, patient care, policies, and equipment concerns as appropriate.
• Promote excellence in patient experience and evidence-based practices (safety rounding, AIDET, Teach-Back).
• Participate in rapid responses and codes; provide feedback, coaching, and education before/during/after events.
