The Resource Nurse at South Shore Health leads department clinical operations during assigned shifts, assigns staff, supports patient placement and care progression, and chairs shift huddles as a clinical resource. The role requires RN licensure in Massachusetts and a BSN (or progress toward) with 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in specialty practice.

Expect involvement in regulatory readiness, quality initiatives, and staff development while maintaining patient throughput and safety.

Formación

• BSN required or currently enrolled; must be acquired within 3 years of hire.
• Three years full-time nursing experience or equivalent, in specialty practice preferred.
• Experience supporting nurse leadership and guiding small groups.
• RN licensure in Massachusetts (MA) in good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee clinical operations of the department for a defined shift.
• Assist staff with patient care as needed and assume a patient assignment if necessary.
• Review department staffing for the current and next shift and assign accordingly.
• Provide direction and clinical oversight of colleagues during the shift.
• Gathers information for safety events and ensures regulatory readiness.
• Lead department huddles and interdisciplinary rounds; support staff into problem resolution.
