Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse for the Resource Team to float to facilities in zones 6–8. This part-time, 40-hour-per-week position offers benefits eligibility and requires RN licensure with BLS and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, coordinating care with the team, and maintaining a culture of safety across units. Prior RN experience and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing. Two years of service line specific RN experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols.
