Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Resource Team. The role involves floating to LCH, Cabarrus, University, Pineville, and Union to support multiple facilities and patients.

The position is full-time with a 36-hour week. A BSN is preferred; an active RN license with state or compact privileges and BLS are required. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN provides client nursing services; multi-state compact acceptable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area to meet patient needs.
