Damar Services, LLC in Richmond, IN is seeking a Resource Specialist to join our mission-driven Support Services team. This role helps keep the environment safe for clients while supporting direct care staff and building leadership skills.

Shifts available: 1st (6 AM–2 PM) and 2nd (2 PM–10 PM). Starting pay is $16.50 per hour, with experience-based pay and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, tuition assistance, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of full-time experience with behavioral challenges and/or DD/ID.
• Must provide formal proof of education required for the position.
• Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility.
• Clear of felony convictions and other disqualifying charges; drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crises and de-escalate when needed.
• Lead safety precautions for high-risk clients.
• Support residents and direct care staff; crisis management involvement.
• Follow behavior support plans and report changes as required.
