Job summary

PERG online is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to patrol a resort property, protect guests and staff, and enforce hotel policies. You will respond to safety requests, document incidents, and support investigations with timely reports.

The role requires calm, professional conduct, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Prior security or safety experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Available for AM & PM shifts.
• Must communicate effectively by phone, email, radio and reporting.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Must remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel property to ensure guest and employee safety and protect assets.
• Respond to house calls to assist guests and associates with safety and operations.
• Investigate crimes against property and persons and document findings.
• Assist sick or injured guests or associates with timely documentation and witness statements.
• Record and monitor investigations, ensuring proper follow-up and reporting.
