Job summary

Chula Vista Resort seeks a Safety & Security Officer to protect guests and employees while delivering hospitality. You will patrol, secure property, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required, with prior guest service experience preferred. You will work independently, coordinate with local authorities, and ensure safety standards across the resort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must have valid Driver License with good driving record.
• Some Guest Experience Skills or Knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of resort operations and guest relations is essential; ability to define objectives.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the entire resort and all properties.
• Check and secure doors, windows, and property, including parking areas.
• Investigate guest and employee complaints or injuries.
• Monitor resort via surveillance camera system.
• Prepare reports and patrol logs.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS when needed.
• Ensure OSHA and safety regulations are followed.
• Enforce resort policies for guests and employees.
• Provide accurate information to guests about the resort and local area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain calm, attentive problem-solving approach in difficult situations.
• Set daily personal and department performance goals.
