Job summary

Odyssey Resorts’ Ruttger’s Bay Lake Resort in Minnesota is seeking seasonal Reservations staff to sell room nights, create and modify reservations, and assist front desk as needed. You’ll maintain clear guest and staff communication and ensure smooth daily operations.

The position requires flexibility for days, evenings, and holidays, MS Office proficiency, and prior resort experience. Background checks are part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• MS Office computer knowledge required.
• Previous resort related experience desirable.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be available for a variety of hours and shifts, including days, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follows Star Performance guidelines to answer phone calls, sell room nights, and book reservations.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of room types, locations, layouts, rates, and the benefits of all package plans.
• Handles group reservations and collects all necessary information.
• Monitors reservations email, your work email, and guest messaging system.
• Prepare confirmations, and add notes as needed to guest reservations.
• Promotes and supports positive working relationships and communications with all guests, co-workers, and other departments.
