Job summary

Lake Lawn Resort is seeking a Reservationist to be the first point of contact for guests planning their stay. You will assist with booking rooms, spa services, dining, golf, and more to create a seamless guest experience from the initial call.

Responsibilities include handling reservations via phone, email, and other channels, managing group bookings, and coordinating with front desk and operations teams. Proactive upselling and high-quality service are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service, reservations, or call center is preferred.
• Experience with property management systems is a plus (Springer Miller).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is expected.

• Provide accurate information on rates, packages, and resort amenities.
• Enter and manage reservations in the property management system.

• Coordinate with front desk and operations teams and upsell where appropriate.
• Process gift certificates and admin tasks (labels, mailings, etc.).
• Provide directions and exceptional customer service to guests.

Position Details

What You’ll Do

• Answer incoming calls and assist guests with reservations and inquiries
• Book guest rooms, spa services, golf tee times, dining, and recreational activities
• Provide accurate information on rates, packages, and resort amenities
• Enter and manage reservations in the property management system
• Handle reservations via phone, email, and other channels
• Process group bookings and rooming lists
• Assist with special requests and coordinate with front desk and operations teams
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance guest bookings
• Process gift certificates and administrative tasks (labels, mailings, etc.)
• Provide directions, general resort information, and exceptional customer service

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service, reservations, or call center experience preferred
• Experience with property management systems (Springer Miller a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
