Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah is seeking a Reservations Sales Agent to transform guest inquiries into reservations and maximize revenue through consultative selling and personalized recommendations. This role advances the traditional Reservations Agent by focusing on sales performance, resort knowledge, and curated guest experiences.

You will connect guests with accommodations, dining, golf, spa, and other experiences while delivering warm, effortless hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations, hospitality, luxury retail, call center, inside sales, or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound reservation inquiries by telephone, email, and other channels with warmth, professionalism, and urgency.
• Convert guest inquiries into confirmed reservations using consultative selling techniques and closing the sale.
• Identify guest travel purposes, preferences, and priorities to recommend accommodations and experiences.
• Maximize room revenue through upselling of rooms, suites, and packages.
• Promote resort experiences including dining, golf, spa, recreation, and events.
• Maintain knowledge of accommodations, rates, promotions, amenities, and programming.
• Create, modify, and cancel reservations accurately while documenting guest details and payments.
• Explain rates, deposits, cancellation policies, packages, and terms clearly.
• Personalize interactions by recognizing birthdays, anniversaries, and special moments.
• Meet sales, conversion, revenue, quality, and productivity targets.
