Job summary

Black Desert Resort is seeking a Reservations Sales Agent to create an exceptional first impression and convert guest inquiries into reservations. This role emphasizes consultative selling, upselling, and personalized recommendations to maximize revenue during the booking process.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries across channels, maintaining resort knowledge, and collaborating with Front Office, Revenue, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous reservations, hospitality, luxury service experience preferred.
• Strong sales ability with confidence recommending products, upgrading experiences, and closing sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with warm, polished tone.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound reservation inquiries by phone, email, and other channels with warmth and urgency.
• Convert guest inquiries into confirmed reservations using consultative selling techniques.
• Identify guest travel purpose and preferences to recommend accommodations and experiences that best meet their needs.
• Maximize room revenue through upselling of categories, suites, packages, and length of stay.
• Promote and sell resort experiences including dining, golf, spa, recreation, and events.
• Maintain knowledge of resort offerings, rates, promotions, and amenities.
• Create, modify, and cancel reservations accurately while protecting guest data.
• Explain rates, deposits, policies, and terms clearly and accurately.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless arrivals and guest satisfaction.
