Job summary

Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island seeks a Pickleball Pro to instruct members and players, lead private and group lessons, and assist in open play, tournaments, and special events. The role includes daily court maintenance and equipment upkeep.

The position reports to the Racquet Sports Manager and involves helping promote pickleball activities and providing excellent guest service at the Sundial resort.

Qualifications

• Certified PPR or IPTPA member with a 3.5 rating or higher.
• Speak to potential members/guests about pickleball/tennis.
• Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills.
• Valid drivers’ license to operate a Resort golf cart.
• Ability to multi-task, while remaining flexible to the needs of the court sports department.
• Ability to work independently or part of a team/department.
• Basic knowledge of tennis & pickleball court maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and give lessons to members and players; assist in open play, tournaments, and special events.
• Maintain daily maintenance of courts and areas adjacent to courts.
• Maintain and repair tennis/pickleball maintenance machines and equipment.
• Coordinate instruction with Racquet Sports Manager; provide private, semi-private and group lessons.
• Develop programs to encourage member participation and assist with marketing of Sundial pickleball and events.
• Manage court scheduling, bookings, and on-court clinics/lessons.
