Job summary

Addison Reserve Country Club in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Pickleball Professional to oversee daily pickleball operations, provide lessons and clinics, and assist with league and event management.

You will support Pro Shop duties, bookings, and customer service, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Certification as a teaching professional and club environment experience are preferred.

Pickleball Professional (Delray Beach, FL)

Position Summary:
Assist the Head Tennis Professional primary responsibly is to oversee the daily maintenance of the pickleball courts and common areas. Provide lessons, clinics, and assist with all club functions. Assist with running all pickleball leagues and matches.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordination, planning, and implementation and member interaction with private or group instructional programs.
• Assisting with the running of all pickleball leagues and all teams.
• Assist with the scheduling, planning, and coordination of all pickleball events: clinics, open play, leagues, and social mixers.
• Maintains a positive rapport with members, co-workers, and management at all times.
• Assist with Pro Shop duties. Responsible for answering phones, counter service, court bookings, game arranging, and customer service. Must be knowledgeable of computer system. May be responsible for scheduled Pro Shop hours.
• Participate in clinics or open play for the membership as requested by the Head Pro.
• Responsible for assisting in all areas of pickleball.
• Complete daily walk through of pickleball facility. Discuss any concerns regarding the pickleball courts and area to Maintenance Supervisor.
• May be assigned to attend home and away matches for various Pickleball leagues.
• Follow Disaster Recovery Procedures before and after a disaster.
• Excellent communication skills to engage, motivate, and effectively teach Members of all levels.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements & Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Teaching Pro

• Previous teaching experience in a private country club or comparable environment. Must be available for flexible hours, including night, pre-dawn, and weekends. Must be computer literate. Tennis back round is highly encouraged.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires extended time outdoors. Must be able to lift, pull and push at least 30 pounds.
• Position requires stamina to teach extended periods of time.
