Job summary

Hyatt Regency Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms, SC, seeks Head Pickleball Pro to lead and grow our pickleball programs. You will design training for instructors, run clinics, manage court scheduling, and build relationships with suppliers to ensure top equipment.

Qualifications

• Certified Pickleball instructor or equivalent certification.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Physical ability to demonstrate and teach Pickleball techniques and strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

The Head Pickleball Pro is responsible for the Pickleball operations of Wild Dunes Resort. The Head Pro will organize and execute all Pickleball programs. The job involves overseeing the development and implementation of training programs, conducting clinics and lessons, and promoting the sport of Pickleball.

• Develop and implement training programs for Pickleball instructors, including instruction on technique, strategy, and game management.


• Organize and conduct Pickleball clinics and lessons for all levels of players, from beginners to advanced.


• Oversee the scheduling of Pickleball courts and ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and organized manner.


• Develop and maintain relationships with Pickleball equipment manufacturers and suppliers to ensure that the facility is equipped with the latest gear.


• Promote the sport of Pickleball within the local community through marketing and outreach efforts.


• Work closely with the facility's management team to ensure that Pickleball programs are aligned with the overall goals of the facility.


• Recruit and train new Pickleball instructors and ensure that they are up-to-date with the latest techniques and equipment.


• Maintain accurate records of Pickleball activities, including attendance, revenue, and expenses.


• Provide excellent customer service to all Pickleball program participants and members.


• The position is salary plus commission based.

Qualifications

The Head Pickleball Pro works in a recreational facility/club environment and may be required to work evenings and weekends. The job involves physical activity, including demonstrating and teaching Pickleball techniques and strategies and may require lifting and moving equipment.

Other qualifications:
