Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a Resort Operations Manager at Vdara to lead Front Desk, Lobby Experience, and Guest Services, driving guest satisfaction and operational excellence. You will work closely with hotel leadership to oversee daily operations and implement strategic initiatives that align with luxury service standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior relevant experience, preferably in Hotel Operations and Management.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• AAA or Forbes knowledge preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for Front Desk, Lobby Experience, and Guest Services operations.
• Partner with Senior Hotel Operations Manager to implement hotel operational strategies and initiatives.
• Drive operational and financial performance, including achieving labor and business goals.
• Lead the hiring process for Front Office positions, including Front Desk Clerks, Guest Services Specialists, and Hotel Operations Managers.
• Focus on strategies that positively impact MGM Rewards Gold and above guests.
• Support supervision, counseling, and performance management of Front Office staff.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Two (2) years of prior relevant experience, preferably in Hotel Operations and Management

• AAA or Forbes knowledge preferred
