Job summary

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa, managed by Coral Hospitality, is seeking a Resort Operations Manager to oversee evening operations. You will manage staff, respond to guest incidents, and maintain high service standards during night hours.

The ideal candidate has experience in resort management, strong leadership, and excellent communication abilities. This full-time role requires night availability and a commitment to safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in resort management or a similar role; strong leadership and guest-service orientation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; ability to manage staff and expectations.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations and standards; ability to ensure compliance during night operations.
  • Ability to work nights, under pressure, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) for each shift, answering radios, handling guest incidents, and completing nightly reports.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and improve nightly operations.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure outstanding customer service during night shifts.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and financial goals for the resort’s evening operations.
  • Coordinate activities and resolve issues that arise during night shifts.
  • Ensure health, safety, and sanitation regulations are followed at all times during evening hours.
  • Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of all resort facilities at night.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements for nightly operations.
