Job summary

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa in Georgia seeks a Resort Operations Manager to oversee evening operations, manage staff, and ensure guest satisfaction. This night-focused role requires leadership, oversight of MOD duties, and the ability to respond to incidents and emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have a hospitality background, experience in resort management, strong communication skills, and the ability to work nights under pressure while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience in resort management or similar role.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of hospitality regulations and standards.
• Ability to work nights and handle multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Manager on Duty (MOD) for each shift, handling radio calls and nightly reports.
• Develop strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and improve overall operations.
• Supervise and train staff to ensure outstanding night-time service.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and financial goals for the resort's evening operations.
• Coordinate activities and resolve issues during night shifts.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation regulations are followed, especially at night.
• Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of facilities at night.
• Monitor guest feedback and drive improvements during evenings.
• Stay current on industry trends to drive nightly operational improvements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
