Job summary

Guy Harvey Resort St. Augustine Beach is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead evening operations, act as Manager on Duty, and partner with the General Manager to uphold resort standards and guest experiences.

This role requires a visible, hands-on leader who moves throughout the property, resolves issues, coaches staff, and communicates across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Security, and other guest-facing areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, resort operations, or hotel management.
• Supervisory or Manager on Duty experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned evening hours.
• Conduct property walks to monitor cleanliness, maintenance, safety, service, staffing, and presentation.
• Resolve escalated guest concerns and provide service recovery within authority.
• Coordinate communication between departments to maintain a seamless guest experience.
• Provide real-time coaching, reinforce resort expectations, and document concerns.
• Monitor F&B operations for guest service, staffing, sanitation, safety, and concerns; support F&B leadership.
• Respond to guest incidents, medical situations, security concerns, weather, and emergencies.
• Complete an effective Manager on Duty turnover report.
