Job summary

RENAISSANCE - ST. AUGUSTINE HISTORIC DOWNTOWN is seeking an Evening Hostperson to greet guests, coordinate seating, and support food and beverage service during evening social events.

Candidates should have at least one year in a food and beverage role, be service minded, and able to stand for long periods; the position requires physical presence on property and may include weekend shifts. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a food and beverage position.
• Experience with chain food and retail outlet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and consistently maintain dining area and supplies in a guest ready atmosphere.
• Prepare food for social/mix events and assist with reception setups.
• Serve beverages to guests during social events.
• Close out shift by cleaning and restocking supplies for next day.
• Maintain safety and security practices and be familiar with emergency procedures.
• Interact with guests and ensure high quality product and service.
• Ensure brand standard documentation is completed as required.
