Job summary

Amelia Island Getaways (AIG) is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations across guest experience, housekeeping, maintenance, and owner communication. This hands-on leader will ensure tasks are completed, roadblocks are removed, and daily operations close out with accountability.

You will drive consistency, improve processes, and maintain high service standards while coordinating with the leadership team to sustain growth and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, property management, or other customer-focused service industries.
• Proven ability to lead teams, implement processes, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Tech-savvy with reservation and property-management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across guest experience, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure everything stays on track.
• Monitor daily task completion and follow up with team members to ensure all responsibilities are completed fully and on time.
• Identify gaps or missed items in real time and step in to resolve issues before they escalated.
• Ensure each day is fully executed and closed out with no loose ends.
• Maintain consistent communication with team members to track progress, clarify expectations, and reinforce priorities.
• Hold team members accountable to their assigned tasks, addressing performance gaps quickly.
• Provide hands-on support and direction to keep workflows moving efficiently.
• Create a culture of ownership, follow-through, and reliability across the team.
• Help team members develop greater ownership and problem-solving abilities by encouraging independent thinking.
