Job summary

AVISTA RENTALS LLC seeks a Resort Manager for Grande Shores in Myrtle Beach, SC. The role reports to the General Manager and drives daily resort operations across Guest Services, Engineering, Sales, Food & Beverage and Housekeeping to meet guest expectations.

You will lead department heads, coach staff, monitor safety, ensure policy adherence, and support hiring while aligning with the company culture and financial goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Resort Management or similar role.
• Strong organizational and people-management skills.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, best practices and trends.
• Leadership abilities to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Proficiency with computers and office applications (email, POS).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop staff from GSM to department heads and their teams.
• Coordinate operations between Guest Services, Engineering, Sales, F&B and Housekeeping.
• Walk property daily to ensure safety, cleanliness and adherence to policies.
• Ensure smooth function of the Front Office and financial wellbeing of the property.
• Resolve guest service issues and discrepancies; manage cash audits and refunds.
